The Hedgehogs takes you on a magical adventure to a world of elves, castles, witches and enchanted forests. The Hedgehogs is an original puzzle game, developed by Andy Jurko, that introduces a different gameplay, requires strategy, and provides more action and excitement.
The storyline is really interesting. The magical Hedgehogs, who lived happily in a peaceful castle, were kidnapped by an evil forest witch who locked them up in her shack.
Your mission is to help Queen Earwen in her way to the witch’s shack and bring the hedgehogs back to the castle. What you have to do is to line up the hedgehogs to make them disappear from the screen. It is easier said than done, though.
As you move on in the game, you will find more difficulties to overcome, like locked hedgehogs, that cannot be moved, but also you will get helpful items like a rainbow hedgehog that can replace any of the hedgehogs colors. There are about sixteen levels to play, and each one consists of three stages. Along the game and depending on your score, you will be receiving more bonuses, power-ups and trophies.
The Hedgehogs can be played in two different game modes, Classic, with a limited time and Zen, with no time constrains but a limited number of moves.
The graphics and animation have been done superbly, very detailed and plenty of colors. The music is cool and relaxing, and the game itself is really fun and addictive, one that will keep you busy for hours.
